Our Commitment to Nature
We are proud and privileged to call Sugar Beach, Costa Rica (Playa Pan de Azúcar) our home and with that comes great responsibility. As stewards of this land, we take significant measures to protect and enhance the health of this ecosystem. We share this land and sea with the surrounding wildlife and seek harmony and balance as part of the natural order. We work to establish ourselves in accordance with all the natural beauty that nourishes our existence.
Regenerative Values
The term “regenerative” describes the processes that restore, renew or revitalize their own sources of energy and materials. Regenerative living uses whole systems thinking to create resilient and equitable systems that integrate the needs of society with the integrity of nature.
Core Values of a Regenerative Approach
Live in harmony with nature
Give more than we take
Cooperate rather than compete
Share resources
Steward land rather than own
Wellbeing as a priority
Sovereign autonomy
Intentional and mindful decision making
Future generation consideration
The Replenish Ayahuasca Project
Growing for tomorrow starts today
The Replenish Ayahuasca Project is a Reunion initiative which helps ensure the continued availability of this sacred plant medicine by supporting additional planting and ongoing growth. With the increasing awareness and desire for Ayahuasca, and an average cultivation time of four to seven years, it’s crucial for more plants to be grown. We support regenerative organic farming initiatives which foster a holistic approach between farmers, soil, plants, and traditions.
The Replenish Ayahuasca Project is a social enterprise, which allows us to immediately give back and encourage others to do the same. The spiritual, ethical, and practical principle of reciprocity is a guiding principle at Reunion - giving back more than we have received. Reunion is a not-for-profit, and a portion of monies received are reinvested in this initiative.

Banisteriopsis caapi (the ayahuasca vine) and Psychotria Viridis (the chacruna leaf) are brewed together to make Ayahuasca. It has been consumed ceremonially by Amazonian tribes for thousands of years. These two plants thrive in tropical and subtropical habitats with optimal shade, high humidity, and access to lots of fresh water.
The Replenish Ayahuasca Project is in central Costa Rica. Central America is home to some of the most diverse tropical climates, perfectly fit for the planting, growing, and harvesting both plants.

The farming practices of our partner organizations are rooted in regenerative practices such as biodynamic farming and permaculture. The key principles are designed to add vitality and richness to the soil and plants without pesticides, herbicides, or other harmful chemicals. These practices encompass the well-being of the entire ecosystem considering animals, insects, and natural processes.
We believe it is our responsibility to integrate regenerative practices so we can live in harmony with nature.

Hiring local labor for farming and ensuring they are paid fair-trade wages
Investing in high-quality cultivation practices that are environmentally friendly
Ensuring that all suppliers we work with adhere to similarly shared principles of environmentalism, fair-trade, and adhere to a high level safety standards
Mission
Replenishment & Continued Availability
The Replenish Ayahuasca Project helps ensure the continued cultivation and preservation of Ayahuasca. Our work involves investing in and working to cultivate this plant medicine in Central America while sharing the mission to replenish one of the Earth's most sacred plants through eco-responsible farming.
Vision
Preserve & Respect
Ayahuasca has transformed our own lives as well as many of those who have experienced Reunion, thus inspiring us to give back. Having experienced incredible healing, this project was initiated as a replenishment effort rooted in protecting the traditions and practices used to harvest this sacred plant. We are grateful and would appreciate your support in helping to replenish Ayahuasca.
Indigenous ELDERS Fund
Indigenous Elders have traditionally been the spiritual guardians of sacred plant medicine and ancient healing practices for thousands of years.
At Reunion we are actively building and maintaining heart centered relationships in order to support indigenous communities that steward sacred medicine. We recognize their generosity in sharing this wisdom and strive to reciprocate by amplifying their voices as well as directly providing financial support for initiatives they prioritize within their communities.
Reunion’s Indigenous Elders Fund honors indigenous traditions and promotes mechanisms to protect cultures, worldviews, and indigenous land in Central and South America.
The Reunion Scholarship Program
To assist people who may otherwise be unable to afford experiencing the healing potential of sacred plant medicines, we established the Reunion Scholarship Program. It is based on the belief that those who feel called may have the opportunity to heal and ignite their lives through sacred plant medicines.
The Reunion Scholarship Program holds and administers funds to help pay for scholarship recipients. The Scholarship Program supports Guests who do not have the full financial means to attend Reunion. It is funded by our reciprocity initiatives and the donations of those who share this belief.
The Reunion Scholarship Program is offered year-round and is open to new applications with $1500 USD partial scholarships available.
Scholarship recipients must complete a Medical Intake and be cleared to participate before their registration is confirmed.
