whether this is your first journey, your tenth or your hundredth, working with plant medicines requires proper preparation.
PREPARING FOR YOUR RETREAT AT REUNION
Regardless of where you are on your path, whether this is your first journey, your tenth or your hundredth, working with plant medicines requires proper preparation to help ensure you have the most profound, rewarding experience. To ensure your safety and wellbeing, please check with your primary care physician and discuss any medications you are currently taking as well as existing physical or psychological conditions that may make a plant medicine journey not right for you at this particular time in your life.
Once you’ve decided to participate in a Reunion experience, we will compassionately guide you through each stage of the journey which begins with our Intake Process. You will receive a guide on how to best prepare for your upcoming week. Our Facilitation team is available via video call should you have any additional questions.
Dietary Preparation
The dietary requirements help to lay the groundwork for the medicine experience by preparing your body, demonstrating respect for the process, and fortifying your willpower for healing. It also helps to reduce the amount of cleansing in ceremony to allow deeper levels of healing to unfold.
In general, we encourage you to eat whole, organic foods, at least 80% non-starchy vegetables. Limit processed foods and foods high in salt, sugar, dairy, gluten, or artificial ingredients, along with the foods listed below:

Medical Requirements
Some medications are contraindicated with Ayahuasca and Psilocybin. Interactions with certain pharmaceutical drugs and medications (including some over-the-counter drugs and certain herbs) can be potentially life-threatening.
We recommend stopping most medications, if possible, four weeks in advance of your journey. We do recognize that this may not be possible for all medications.
Discuss with your doctor any and all medications you are taking and their interactions with MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors), particularly if you are taking any medications that would pose a health risk to discontinue. It's not always necessary to discontinue medications, but it is essential to discuss this with your primary doctor as well as our team when filling out your Intake Form.
Note, your registration is not confirmed until your Intake Form is submitted and approved by our Intake Team. You will receive an email from our Facilitation team once your registration is approved. Please do not proceed to book your flights until you receive this confirmation.
