Embodiment

We experience the world through sensing our whole body. It is the most primal form of inner communication that directs all thought, feeling, and action. We explore somatic practices to learn from the wisdom of the body and feel connected to our whole being.

Sacred Medicine

Ancient and Indigenous cultures have been working with plant medicines for time immemorial. Working with these medicines in a sacred and ceremonial context can assist our healing journey. The plants become great allies on our path towards transformation and wholeness.

Integration

At Reunion, we believe integration is imperative. We believe most of the work happens after ceremony and are here to provide you with the tools and support to navigate your post medicine journey.

Classes and daytime sessions aim to support and inform the work in ceremony and create a deeper connection to the energetic realms of the plants. This journey aims to support you in freeing your authentic expression, nourishing joy, and learning to connect to the elements to create health, harmony, and balance in your daily life.  To enhance this process, we will utilize a signature series of embodiment practices guided by an expert team - including breathwork, meditation, movement, earth wisdom teachings, and integration circles.

Your Stay

Only an hour from the Liberia International Airport (LIR), Reunion is located on Playa Pan de Azúcar (Sugar Beach) on the Northern Pacific Coast of Guanacaste. Reunion is only a few steps from the beach in one of the world’s five Blue Zones (the Nicoya Peninsula).

Blue Zones are regarded as areas that have the highest number of centenarians — people living the longest and healthiest. Blue Zones are known for their biodiversity, high levels of oxygen, healthy food, and strong sense of community with purpose.

At Reunion, we believe that the land we steward is unique. For many, this environment induces a sense of serenity, safety and nourishment. We share almost 40 acres of tropical forest with monkeys, motmots, iguanas, tree sloths, and a bevy of other indigenous fauna.

The sights, sounds, and smells of this tropical ocean-side sanctuary wash over you like a soothing balm of tranquility. Whether spending time fireside, swimming in the ocean, or exploring the forest, you will feel cradled by nature.

We acknowledge the indigenous Chorotega people as the original stewards of Sugar Beach. Our vow is to continue to protect this land and live in harmony with nature through regenerative practices.
