Originally hailing from Ontario, Canada, but now calling Costa Rica home, Karen is a joyful, lighthearted soul with a passion and deep-rooted belief in the power of plant medicine.

With more than 15 years in the alternative healing space studying herbalism, nutrition, and non-Western therapies, Karen brings to Reunion her first-hand experience, tremendous insight, and loving guidance to those looking to have their first, or hundredth, ayahuasca or psilocybin retreat.

Karen’s passion and forte is fostering connection. Whether on a Discovery Call, at an event, or overseeing Reunion’s Scholarship Program, she brings her heart, soul, and authenticity to every interaction. Her thorough conversations act as a guide for those embarking on a plant medicine journey.

Her enthusiasm for healing translates over to Karen’s passion for cooking and healthy food. When she isn’t deep in conversation, Karen can be found in the kitchen whipping up new recipes!
